St. Peter's Square
St. Peter's Square represents the Heart of world Christianity. It is famous all over the world since it is a meeting place during the main religious events celebrated by the Pope. St. Peter's Basilica is one of the most impressive buildings in the world, with 218 meters in length and a dome that reaches 133 meters. It represents the most important temple in the history of the Catholic Church. Walking inside you can admire works such as La Pietà, Bernini's Baldacchino, the Vatican Grottoes and the Chair of St. Peter. It is also possible to go up to the Dome !! These are the true undisputed symbols of the most important Christian basilica in the world
Musei Vaticani e Cappella Sistina
The Vatican Museums are the most important museum complex in Italy. Millions of people, every year, come from every corner of the world to admire the works present in Vatican City. Its rooms contain the works and masterpieces of important artists and masters known throughout the world such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Tiziano, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Raffaello. The Sistine Chapel is frescoed by the hand of Michelangelo Buonarroti who covered the vault and the wall above the altar. Right above the altar is the famous "Giudizio Universale". The eyes of the whole world can admire it, through media cameras, during official ceremonies as well as in the days of the Conclave when the Church elects the new Pope.
Piazza Cavour
The square hosts a well-kept garden dominated by the Justice Palace, which Romans call Palazzaccio, due to its massive architecture, all in travertine. It was built between 1899 and 1910 to house the Supreme Court of Cassation.
Trastevere
The Trastevere district is 3.5 km from St. Peter's Square and can be reached by taking a nice walk along the Tiber. This area of Rome is known for being very characteristic: full of osterias and restaurants, night clubs and bars. It welcomes tourists from all over the world but is also very popular with the Romans themselves. You can't help but love its narrow streets and alleys!
Trionfale market
It is located halfway between Ottaviano and Cipro Metro Stations, therefore it is very easy to reach
Castel Sant'Angelo
It was initially born as a sepulcher dedicated to the emperor Hadrian. It was subsequently included within the Aurelian walls and from that moment on it took on the role of 'castellum', or rather a sort of Watchtower on the Tiber to protect the city. In the following years its function changes and becomes the place of residence or refuge of the popes in case of danger.
Ponte Sant'Angelo
In ancient times Ponte Sant'Angelo was called Ponte Elio, from the name of the emperor Elio Adriano who wanted to build it to connect the city to the entrance of his mausoleum: the current Castel Sant'Angelo. The appearance of the bridge, now commonly referred to as Sant'Angelo due to the statue of the Archangel overlooking the castle, has undergone various transformations: two statues depicting St. Peter and St. Paul were added and further enriched with ten statues of angels bearing the symbols of the Christ's passion. Bernini, commissioned by Clement IX, drew the figures, entrusting their execution to his students.

Passeggiata del Gianicolo
The ‘Gianicolo’ is undoubtedly one of the most evocative places in Rome. In the main square stands the imposing statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi who gives a solemn imprint to this "Park of Memory" dedicated to the defense of the Roman Republic of 1849, together with the marble busts of Garibaldi's heroes. From this Belvedere you can enjoy one of the most beautiful and evocative panoramas of the city. On the Gianicolo Hill you can also find the fountain kown as the ‘Fontanone del Gianicolo’: it dominates the large terrace overlooking the city. It was built as a terminal exhibition of the TraianoPaolo Aqueduct, at the behest of Pope Paul V Borghese (1605-1621), whose emblems (dragon and eagle) recur in several places on the monument.
Via Ottaviano e Via Cola di Rienzo
Via Ottaviano has been defined as "a sort of red carpet that takes the visitor from the subway to Piazza Risorgimento, and finally to St. Peter's Square". In addition to being a point of passage for the many pilgrims who make their way to St. Peter's Square, over the years it has also become a shopping street. Via Cola di Rienzo was inaugurated in 1911 and connects Piazza della Libertà, near the Tiber, with Piazza del Risorgimento near the Vatican Walls. The street, also known as "Corso di Roma", is lined with fashion shops and culinary specialties that make it very similar to Via del Corso.
